Cinder Staffing is Hiring a Remote Business Development Manager

Title: Business Development Manager

Pay Rate: $75,000 plus commission

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM

Location: Hybrid (Remote with 2 days in office/week in Hillsboro)

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will focus on identifying ideal clients for Cinder’s services, building relationships with decision makers with the ultimate goal of signing them as clients. You will do this by developing and implementing long-term sales strategies in alignment with Cinder’s values. A successful Business Development Manager has demonstrated experience with creating and executing successful, organizational growth strategies.

This role requires partnering closely with our internal teams to ensure a smooth experience for new clients. This role is public-facing and will represent Cinder at events.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new business.
  • Identify ideal clients and build relationships leading to signed contracts to provide recruiting services.
  • Establish strong rapport with clients; manage and maintain client relationships.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team on open job requisitions.
  • Create and maintain a diverse network of community partners and resources.
  • Represent Cinder at different in-person and remote networking events.
  • Hire, train, and manage business development team as needed.
  • Keep up to date on labor, community, and industry trends and apply them to business development opportunities.

Key Measurables

  • Signed and billed contracts.
  • Set quarterly growth goals.
  • Maintain pipeline required to achieve or exceed targets.

About You

  • 4 years of staffing sales experience (technical sales background preferred).
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, & inclusion topics and comfortable with conversations surrounding them.
  • Experience developing and executing a business development strategy.
  • Ability to establish strong long-term rapport with clients, community partners, and internal team.
  • Strong computer skills/tech savvy.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (we use Avionte and Salesforce).
  • Team player with a strong sense of how sales interacts and integrates with other internal teams.
  • Highly resourceful, self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Long-term strategy thinker – knack for anticipating obstacles and addressing issues early on.
  • Skilled in organizing, multi-tasking, and prioritizing competing time demands; ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Be flexible, coachable, and willing to propose ideas.
  • Previous people management experience is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
